This is an unofficial fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Century Games, and nothing on it should be read as coming from them.

What this site is

WoS Community is an independent reference about Whiteout Survival, written by people who do not work on the game and are not connected to its publisher. Whiteout Survival, its name, its artwork and everything inside it belong to Century Games. The writing, the code and the artwork on this site are ours; the game is not.

We restate facts about the game in our own words and cite where we read them. We do not reproduce the publisher's text, copy their tables, or host their images or screenshots. If you are looking for the official word on anything, the publisher's own help centre is the place to go, and where we rely on it we say so and link to it.

Use of this site

Read it, use what you learn, and link to it. You are welcome to quote a passage with a link back. What you may not do is republish these pages wholesale, or feed them into something that reproduces them as its own reference — not because we mind being read, but because a copy has no read dates and no corrections loop, so it becomes stale the day it is made and there is no way for a reader to tell.

Accuracy, and its limits

Everything published here has been through the checks described on the methodology page, and that is a real bar. It is not a guarantee. Games change between updates, publisher pages go stale, and a source that was right last month can be wrong today. Where our sources disagree we show the disagreement rather than pick a winner, which means some questions have no single answer here on purpose.

So: decisions you make in the game are yours. If an event matters enough that being wrong would cost you, check it against the live game before you commit an alliance to it. We would rather say that plainly than imply a certainty the method cannot support.

No game services, and no account tools

This site does not automate any part of playing the game, does not accept or process game accounts, does not buy, sell or transfer anything in the game, and does not offer any service that runs against the game on your behalf. The publisher's terms prohibit automation tools, and independently of that, we think a fan site that touches somebody's account is a fan site that will eventually cost somebody their account.

Links to other sites

Where we cite a source we link to it. Those sites are not ours, we do not control what they publish, and a link is a citation rather than an endorsement. The same applies to any community server or third-party tool named here.

No warranty

This site is provided as it is, without any warranty. We do not promise it will be available, be free of errors, or be current at any given moment. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from the use of it, including anything that happens in the game as a result of something read here.

Changes

These terms may change as the site grows and as parts of it that do not exist yet are added. Material changes are dated and recorded rather than made quietly. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.

Getting in touch

Corrections, complaints about accuracy, and requests from rights holders all go through the contact page. If you are a rights holder and something here crosses a line you draw differently from us, write and say which page and which line, and it will be looked at properly rather than argued with.
